Arizona State University Fashion Program Director, Dennita Sewell shares memories from her childhood of clothing her mother and grandmother made from flour and feed sacks. Explore the resourcefulness of women who used the things they had to make the things they needed. See some of the clothing styles and prints that were used to make these unique clothing items.
Don't miss Thrift Style, on view in the exhibition hall, which features these upcycling practices of the 1930s and 40s. On view through November 27.
