Fabric Description
Dintex is a material that is often used for outerwear jackets. It's lightweight and known for its breathability, wicking, antimicrobial, flexibility, durability, strength fluid resistance, and static control. It prints beautifully in the Kornit Digital Printer. It's made to withstand over 100 washes. It's fluid-resistant, static-control, anti-microbial, no-linting, and easy to wash. It meets the OEKO Standard 100 requirements.

Behind the Zero Waste Collection:
At FABRIC Incubator, we’ve created zero-waste products from the leftover materials we used to manufacture 800K reusable medical gowns during the COVID-19 pandemic. This leftover material is what is referred to as deadstock in the industry. The edge of the fabric can be left raw so it's the perfect fabric for zero-waste patterns as well (2D square pattern folds into 3D design).
Each bag features unique artwork printed in on-demand batches with the eco-friendly Kornit Presto printer, which uses water-based inks and a direct-to-fabric system, reducing water consumption and pollution.
Our project repurposes materials, raises awareness about unsustainable fashion practices, and demonstrates the viability of sustainable, customized, on-demand manufacturing.
