On December 2nd, 2017, 60 Arizona apparel and accessory brands united on one runway. Each brand showcased one signature look in the LabelHorde Fashion Show on the deck of Tempe City Hall during the Tempe Festival of the Arts.
The event highlighted the growing fashion industry in Arizona that is scaffolded by the LabelHorde directory and by our fashion incubator building F.A.B.R.I.C. located in downtown Tempe, AZ. Participating brands included everything from couture wedding and event dresses to active street wear and everything in between including pet and children’s wear.
With 60 brands, 60 different models and about 40 hair/makeup artists coming together in one show, it was an opportunity for all of Arizona’s fashion industry to collaborate and celebrate its growth, diversity and uniqueness.
The event started with a fashion inspired dance performance by HALO Movement Collective. Then each brand’s model walked a 200-foot runway on the deck of Tempe’s City Hall to live music by Grant Ferguson. The event was emceed by Mrs. Elite US Women of Achievement Molly Edwards. It was free to the public for standing room, $15 for runway seats and $50 for VIP seats and a portion of the proceeds went to benefit the Arizona Apparel Foundation; a 501c3 non-profit inside F.A.B.R.I.C. with the mission to provide the knowledge and resources necessary to foster Arizona’s fashion industry.
